Taste of Canterbury

The new "Taste of Canterbury" event series, transports to you the taste of Tacos and Tequila, Bourbon and Whiskey Smokehouse, and Asian Bistro! This themed entertainment Experience will show what Canterbury's kitchen can bring to the table, with specialty food, cocktails, and pairings during an evening packed with themed fun and live racing action.

Taste of Canterbury will take place alongside live racing. Gates will open at 4PM one hour prior to the first post at 5:10PM. The event will run from 5PM - end of the race day (Approx.10PM).

Spicing up the race day under the Tacos and Tequila theme! Hand selected and freshly made Mexican favorites including classic Tacos, Elote Bowls, and Tres Leches Cake to top it all off. Pair that with a Perfect Margarita and a smooth Tequila Flight while enjoying some live entertainment provided by "Los Rebeldes". Los Rebeldes (The Rebels) is a Mexican-American group based out of southern Minnesota. Their style from the north blends with traditions of the south to bring the musical styles of Tex-Mex, Conjunto, Country, Folk, and Cumbia alive on stage. Los Rebeldes has evolved to feature both Tex-Mex and Conjunto favorites across the upper Midwest. Led by melodies on the accordion, trumpet, and guitar, you won’t hear this unique blend of music from any other group in Minnesota. A Los Rebeldes show promises to be diverse, fun, and danceable!

A new twist on these savory and sweet all-American flavors. Bringing to you everything from smoked meats and mac and cheese to a flambé desert station, with the classic taste of hot Cinnamon Bourbon Apples served a la mode. Combined with the warm notes of American Bourbons, Whiskeys, and more.

Sample some familiar Asian Bistro classics like Vegetable Summer Rolls with Thai Peanut Sauce, and discover new dishes such as Char Siu Bao Buns and Bahn Gan Coconut Crème Caramel with Lemon Grass. Enjoy themed cocktail pairing, allowing for the perfect blend of flavors.

A general admission ticket includes live racing admission + the Taste of Canterbury Experience with all the food, cocktails, and entertainment the event has to offer.

Add a Club-Level table for 4 with exceptional views of the race track for an even more comfortable and relaxed Taste of Canterbury Event experience. This upgrade also includes cocktail service at the table.
